The first session for the year of the Joint Bulgarian-Romanian Agricultural Commission took place

In Hall 1 of Regional Administration - Ruse was held the first regular session for 2011 of the Joint Working Group from representatives of agriculture in Ruse Region and Giurgiu County.

Ms. Galina Georgieva from the Regional Directorate "Agriculture" presented the priorities of the directorate during the year 2011. During the year Regional Directorate "Agriculture" will continue the annual registration of farmers and annual registration of users of agricultural land in the ISAC / Integrated system for Administration and control / to obtain EU subsidies and national payments under the single payment scheme.

The Director of State Fund "Agriculture" Mr. Dimitar Kanchev informed about running short-term support schemes, schemes and arrangements for direct payments in 2011., approved schemes for national-payments and approved schemes for specific support throughout the year.

During the session was introduced the structure of the new Regional Directorate for Food Safety - Ruse and its five divisions: Food Control, Animal Health, Plant Protection, Control of plant protection products and fertilizers and financial activities.

In front of the members of the group Mr. Stefan Arnaudov presented the activities of the founded in 2005. and based in Ruse, Bulgarian Branch Beekeeping Export Association.

Through its contacts with representatives of the Joint Working Group the Association members will be able to enrich their experience in production technologies and enhancing the quality of their products.

As part of the agenda of the Working Group was made a presentation of the grape harvest in 2011. The Director of The Executive Agency on Vine and Wine, Eng Evlogi Hanchev presented data from the Information System of The Agency in Sofia.
